The safest place is the official Connect IQ Store, inside the Garmin Connect IQ app or on Garmin's website. Install from there, not from random download sites. Files from unknown sources can be broken or unsafe, and they will not update.

- Design quality. Paid designs usually have more polished artwork and layouts built for readability.
- Compatibility. Premium designers test on more watch sizes and models.
- Support and updates. You can ask the designer for help and receive fixes.
- Variety. Free faces are often basic digital or analog layouts.
When it is worth paying
